I'll just say that cell phones have totally changed the dynamics among


young people today. Kids today are in constant communication of one form or another. I think its to a point of being unhealthy.

One of my girlfriends in high school lived in another town and hour from the high school. But I lived walking distance to the school So after school, we had sports practice (football/cheerleading). After practice, we'd "hang out" for 20 minutes at the bus stop while she waited for the activity bus home. It was all the mushy stuff . . . "I'll see you tomorrow, kiss, kiss"

Then it was home, homework, family, TV, etc. Maybe at 9 pm, I'd call her house, her dad would answer the phone, "hi Mr. Dad, can I talk to Jane?" We'd chat for 20 minutes using the phone in the kitchen, but then my mom would come into the kitchen tapping her watch, "watch the phone bill".


That was then, today my kids are texting, instagramming, snapchatting non stop. As I said, I think the constant communication reaches a point of unhealthy-ness.
